My life is forever changed

On Sunday Nov 14th at 4:35pm my life forever changed....my 14 year old Autistic son Dylan was in the dining room looking out the sliding glass doors as he often does on rainy days...Then all of a sudden his whole body clinched up and he fell to the floor in a massive seizure. He has never had one before . Thank goodness my husband was home ( it was his birthday ) he quickly ran over to him and put his head in his lap. I called 911..all I could do was scream..mybaby , my baby , he is dying.

My son was purple from the chest up and blood was coming from his mouth. The look on his face , I will never forget. It was the most terrifing day of my life , I thought I was losing him.I called my church family and began screaming please pray for my baby, as they spread the word for all to pray. The ambulance got there and he stabilized and they took him to the ER. They done test after test and could not find out why this happend to my sweet boy.

As of now he seems to be fine , but I cannot leave his side for fear it may happen again. Me and my husband sleep in shifts. Today we have an appt with a Neurologist to find out why. I know that my Lord God and the prayers of so many saved my baby that night..I will never be able to repay them for what they have done...For those who do not believe in the power of prayer , I can only say it saved my son that night and for that I am forever greatful . I love my Lord God with all my heart and will do everything in my power to serve him and to spread his loving word.

I will let everyone know the outcome of todays appt as soon as possable..thanks so much !

Day 9 : A picture of your friends

I don't have many pics of my friends as most are packed away..so here is what I do have.
This is Jessica and she is about to marry into our family , I love her so much !!. She has the kindest heart and an amazing love for God .

This is Johnathan ,pictured with my son and niece and nephew. He attends our church and also stars in the Miracle show in Pigeon Forge..he is a hoot and is always singing and making us laugh.

My moter in law ( in pink ) and our very good friend Shannon ( she is going to kill me when she finds out I posted this pic...lol.) Sitting in the water at Metcalf bottoms. This is our Summer past time.

Day 8

Day 8  : A place you have traveled to.

We love to travel and have been to all of the lower states as well as a few up north. Our goal is to travel to all 50 as well as a few stops over seas. We are planning our first  cruise  for this summer and cannot wait ! So here are a few places we have been...

Washington DC ( It was so cold that day )

Las Vegas

Hoover Dam
Myrtle Beach SC

San Francisco

Hollywood Ca

Driving thru Texas

Day 7

Day 7 : Favorite Movies

I love movies so this may take awhile..lol....Okay here we go.

Steel Magnolias
Stand by me
Goonies
50 first dates
A walk to remember
Pretty in pink
Lost boys
How to train your Dragon
300
P.s I love you

All the old school holiday cartoon movies ( Frosty , Rudolph ex. )

Okay I will leave it at that..there are so many I could list , we would be here forever !

Day 6

Day 6 : A picture that makes you happy

This was so easy for me to do I love these pics and look at them almost every day...
This pic means so much to me , it was the day my son got Baptised. July 4th 2010.I could not have been more proud of him.

I love , love , love this one. This is my Son Dylan and he would live at Disney world if we would let him. He has Autism and we try to take him every two years. He opens up so much when he is there and actually spoke his first words at Disney when he was 3...what were they " oh mommy there is Tigger " Yep it melts my heart.....

Day 5

Day 5 : Siblings

I don't have many photos of my sisters , as we are not very close. There is a big age gap in between us and I think that has alot to do with it. My sisters are 18 months apart to the day and I am 10 years younger then them.My sister Carolyn aka cricket is the oldest ( sitting at the top in glasses ) she is 11 years older then me and although she lives right next door I don't see her often. She is a single mother and works long hours to take care of her family. My Sister Beverly ( sitting behind my mother) has always been closer with me. We get along fairly well but do tend to have sibling spats every so often. She is also a single mother and the first of us to have grandchildren. I do truly love my sisters and I wish we were closer and hope as we get older we will be.

Day 4

Day 4 : Parents

This is my mother Irene , she has a very kind soul and would do anything for anybody. We get along very well and I cannot imagine my life without her. We talk on the phone every day , several times a day since she lives about 3 hours from me.I am the youngest of the clan and there fore her " baby" and she still refers to me as such to everyone..lol.

This is my Daddy Warren. He passed away 10 years ago as of September 18th. I miss him so much he was the glue in our family and since his passing everyone has kinda gone their seperate ways. He loved kids and gave a nickname to everyone of them. I wish he had gotten to see my boys grow up as he loved them so very much and his last words to us , was to make sure we take care of "skip" {my oldest son Keenan}. He was his world...I know he is in a much better place free from pain and sitting at the feet of Jesus and I cannot wait to be with again one day.

30 day challenge day 3

Day 3 : First Love

This is a hard and an easy one for me....

My First love would have to be my Savor Jesus Christ...

My second first love would have to be my Daddy...I miss him so much , he died 10 years ago...

Next would be my sons Keenan and Dylan , they are my reason for breathing.

So that leaves my Husband Josh , which would technically be my first love...We have been together since our Sophomore year of High School going on 20 years now ( ugh I feel old now ) . I cannot imagine my life without him. He knows me better then I know myself at times.

30 day blog challenge day 2

Day 2 : Meaning behind your blog name

Mine I think is pretty self explanatory .... I live in the Smokey Mountains , Tennessee. Better known as tourist central aka Pigeon Forge. Even though things here can be crazy at times , things are very laid back. We love going to the mountains to pic-nik  , taking a walk or just sitting by the water relaxing.
