Bows , bows and more bows

Girls day out

I had a wonderful day out yesterday with my bestie April and her daughter Shalee. First we went to our local scrapbook clerence store and found some wonderful bow making supplies and ribbon for just $.50 a roll.
Then it was onto Joannes where we found you guessed it more bow making supplies. Then onto Sally's for clips and then dollar tree .

I cannot wait to get started on all the goodies we bought , I will post tons of pics when I get them done.

Diet 2012

Okay so this is the year I'm gonna shed all these extra pounds. So On Dec 30th , that's right we started 2 days early..Go us HA. As of now I am down 21 pounds woohoo and my poor hubby is down 5lb (inside I'm so smiling that I have whooped him thus far).

We have been eating majorly healthy not cheating even once and last night we decided to have our cheat meal. Mine was Chinese food , beef & broccoli . Let me tell you not 10 min after I ate I felt like pardon my French CRAP. I cannot believe we ate like this all the time . No wonder we were tired all the time and so out of shape.

I know one thing I will never eat like this again only healthy eating for me from this day on. I still have alot of weight to lose ( like 70lb) but I will do this one pound at a time and by this Aug I will be able to wear all those cute clothes I have been dieing to fit into.

I just had to post the new bow/headband I made today for my beautiful niece Brianna. I can't wait to see her in it !!!

Some things I have been up to..

Something I have been doing over the past few months is making bows , wreaths ex. . It figures that since I have only boys I would find out to make all this cutesy stuff  HA ! Good thing I have nieces to wear all my projects.Here are a few pics of my newest creations.

Still learning and I hope to be able to make the really big Southern type bows in the next few weeks. You never know I may turn out to be the next big bow maker HA !

Long Time no see....

It's been a long time...

Alot has happened around our house in the past few months...Here is a bit of an update..

*My nephew turned out to not be my nephew , the mother lied about who the father was and in the end completely crushed  two  families. The one who lost him and the one who missed out on him.
*My husband got a new job working for our local police dept
*We redone our home..again
*I found couponing and am in love with it !!
*We have had more bear sightings in our yard this year then ever before . See pic below

                                             
*I have taken up bow making,even though I have boys. Thank goodness for nieces or my boys would look real silly HA.
*I have finally committed to losing weight since being diagnosed with Diabetes type 2..ten pounds down and alot more to go.
*One of my favorite Aunts Passed , so gonna miss her.
*Reconnected with old friends.
*I had a new niece Brianna Nikole and I am madly in love with her , the 1st girl on my side in over 18 years !
                                            

Last but not least , I have found Pinterest and am so addicted...Be sure to add me HA ! There are tons more but thats another day....
